Bio, education, and the usual back-of-the-CV details
My name is A. Scholar, and I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Something at the University of Somewhere. My dissertation, provisionally titled "[Working Title of Dissertation]," looks at [one-sentence description of the dissertation problem].“Provisionally” is doing a lot of work in that sentence — ask me again in six months.

Research interests

Teaching
I have been a teaching assistant for Introduction to [Subject] (2023, 2024) and Advanced [Subject] (2025), and I mentor undergraduates working on senior theses in the lab.
